Works for me. Tested Lightning 2.1a1 (BuildID 20121117030316) with
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:19.0) Gecko/19.0
Thunderbird/19.0a1 (BuildID 20121117030316).

Could you add more details about the problem? For example:

What build of Thunderbird do you use? You can find this information in
Help > Troubleshooting Information.

What build of Lightning do you use? You can find this information in
Tools > Add-ons > Extensions > Lightning > About.

Do you get any error messages in Tools > Error Console?

Any other information that might help to understand and reproduce your
problem will help too.

/Stefan

Lightning 2.1a1
20121105030251

BTW: I can't "copy" the text in that dialog; I am thus forced to
manually type the text. Whose moronic idea was it to prevent copying in
the About dialog?

Tons of "errors". Here are the first two:

I'm confused as to where to get the current nightly build of Lightning.
I remember there being some post about a transition to another ftp
sub-directory (might have been about Thunderbird though).

Thanks!

OK, I just updated Lightning *manually* to 20121117030316, and it works
again.

I thought the nightly builds would *auto-update* (so I didn't check
every day anymore). Is this not the case? Am I installing from the wrong
FTP sub-directory[1]? Should I be installing in a different "way"? Is
there a bug I can follow for this?

Thanks again!

Yes, auto-update is broken at the moment. Now that the merges have
happend I can start fixing it.

Stay tuned,
Philipp

Is there a bug I can follow (to be auto-notified when it's fixed)? Will
you make an announcement here in the newsgroup?

Thanks!

Uhoh, I think I landed these things in the wrong order :-(

You have received an update, great! But the update doesn't have the
em:updateURL set, so you won't receive any subsequent updates until you
manually download a version that includes this property again.

I'll try to do something about it...

I've undone the update.php change, you won't receive any more updates.
I'll fix this and then redeploy, then blog about it so users don't miss it.
