Firefox OS Hackathon at HUST -- looking for help

Hi all,

This is Brian Birtles from Mozilla Japan. I sent a mail to this list
back in May about doing a Hackathon at Hanoi University of
Science and Technology.

Thank you to those of you who replied with offers of help! I'm very
sorry I never responded. Unfortunately, our plans changed many times.

However, together with Framgia (http://framgia.com/) we are now hoping
to run the workshops and hackathon between September and November!

The opening session will be on Friday 19 September. Then there will be
tutorials and time for participants to work on their Web apps. Then in
the middle of November there will be a hackathon and a time to present
the finished apps.

Yesterday Daisuke and I met with Kazunari FUJIMOTO from Framgia. He
would really like to work with some people from the Mozilla community to
run the workshops and tutorials.

Is there anyone who is interested in helping with organizing or
facilitating these workshops? Also, if anyone is able to help with
teaching technical topics (e.g. Firefox OS app development, offline
apps, WebRTC etc.) or helping to explain these concepts in Vietnamese
that would be of great help!

If so, please let Kazunari Fujimoto know (CC'ed,
kazunari...@framgia.com). He will be very grateful I'm sure!

I hope to see many of you online and some of us hope to visit in
November too!

I am a community manager for Mozilla. Am not based in
Hanoi, Viet Nam. But will meet should I visit sometime.

Please stay in touch with the Mozilla Vietnam community via
the mailing-list and work with them to plan this event.
