Community update meetings

Hi all,
I was thinking it would be great to have a regular meeting (monthly?) to
update each other on community happenings in Toronto. Updates could be
event announcements or reports, or other topics that would help us keep on
top of opportunities to grow and support the wider local community.
I think at this stage it makes sense to have the meeting during or just
after office hours, then report the news on this list and the blog to reach
people who couldn't make it.
I know this lists has a small audience at the moment, but I think that's
fine. Let's start with us and grow. What do you think?

Hi All,
I think a regular meeting is a great idea. We have a growing Toronto
(and Canada!) community and taking the pulse of what's currently going
on periodically can lead to fruitful collaborations.
