Hi Monica and Ioana,

I hope you're both well and enjoying the summer.

I'm still eager to get Romanians in Utah involved in the Mozilla
Romanian localization team. It would be really great to arrange for a
chance to meet with the group and get them involved in a project that
has such a high reputation and potential for making a positive impact on
the Web for all Romanian speakers around the globe. Could we arrange a
time to discuss this more, either over the phone or in person?

Thanks,
Jeff

PS, I've CC'd another colleague interested in finding more Romanian
localizers (Francesco Lodolo), as well as the mailing list for the
Mozilla Romania community (communit...@lists.mozilla.org). They've
begun a discussion about updates to the terminology used in the Romanian
localization of Firefox and would certainly like to get your input.

Hi Ioana,

That would be great, thank you! I'm also teaching a course on
translation technology at BYU this Fall, so it'll be quite easy for us
to arrange something.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
Jeff

Yes, it'll be a good experience :-D

End of September is open for me. My class meets on Wednesdays from
5PM-8PM, so any day other than that works.

Thanks!

Hi Ioana,

It's going well, thanks! I'm glad to hear from you.

My schedule is still the same. I'll be in Sri Lanka for Mozilla between
1-5 October, so any time before/after that is currently available. I'm
also in 4057 JKB today until 2PM, if you'd like to talk more about this
in person.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hello everyone, replying because this message was also sent to
community-romania
mailing list.

First of all, if there are any Romanians or Romanian speakers who may want
to contribute to Mozilla's localization project, they can get in touch with
me and Ioana Chiorean.

I understand BYU has a very strong foreign languages department, so there
may be a few non-native Romanian speakers there too, which is encouraging.

In the mean time, you can find some introductory details in this github
readme page I maintain:
https://github.com/Jobava/mozilla-localization/blob/master/README.md
(Sections "Ghiduri" and "Unelte")

Thanks for your interest!
