nouveaux pays qui auront des lancements de téléphones FFxOS dans les
prochains mois... voici le premier et non le moindre!

All,

I'm at Futurecom, Latin America's biggest mobile conference and trade
show. We just had a packed press conference with with CEOs and other
leaders from Telefonica Brazil, Vivo, Alcatel, and LG to announce the
launch of Firefox OS in Brazil. This is a huge milestone for Mozilla and
our biggest launch market to date!

We've launched with Vivo, Telefonica's network operator brand in Brazil.
The LG Fireweb goes on sale today, and the Alcatel OneTouch Fire goes on
sale tomorrow. Both of these are running Firefox OS 1.1, have a
Marketplace with great Brazilian apps and content, and are preloaded
with Cut the Rope.

I'm here with many Mozillians, both employees and volunteers: Andreas,
Leslie, Grace, Fabio, Andre, Adriano, Luigui, Ricardo and Lenno. A
special thanks to Andre, who is hosting many of the others at his house.

There is a core launch team of 16 Mozilla reps, who are driving the
sales training and guerrilla marketing, along with local PR and
communications with our agency. Overall, there are over 110 long-time
Mozilla volunteers who have played a role, including development,
localization and other contributions. And, in the last few months, we've
recruited 440 "mobilizers," who will help us evangelize Firefox OS all
over Brazil.

This is such an exciting day. Thank you for all the work that went into
making this happen. And there's a lot more to come!
