Hi all,
Apologies for the spam, but I wanted to share an opportunity to work with
Access Now, an organization promoting digital rights around the world.
Please read and share the info below.
"
Access Now has recently posted an open position for a Security Incident
Handler <
https://www.accessnow.org/security-incident-handler-asia-2016/> in
Asia! We're extremely excited about this position which represents an
important part of our 24/7 Digital Security Helpline
<
https://www.accessnow.org/help/> and our ongoing work in providing digital
security support to the region. Through the helpline, the candidate will
be responsible for providing digital security advice and emergency incident
response to civil society groups around the globe!
As you may know, Access Now has been operating out of Manila, the
Philippines, for the past two years, (in 2015 we held RightsCon
<
https://www.rightscon.org/> in Manila!). We’ll continue to operate in the
Philippines, but we’re now looking to expand the extent of our coverage
across the Asia region and deepen our capacity for defending digital
rights. This can include anywhere across the pan-Asia region.
We would really appreciate it if you could help us spread the word or let
us know of anyone within your network who might be interested. We're keen
to hear!
"
Best,
Melissa
