Introducing

Hello all,

I'm Lawrence Kisuuki from Uganda, East Africa. I'm a Mozilla Rep for the Uganda community. I'm pretty much interested in the OpenNews and MozillaKnight Program. Michelle introduced this to me. I started out with a News and media site last year in September called newslibre.com and have some really nice ideas I want to implement for it, but I don't have the best developers, resources and really need help. Hope I can get that hear and can meet new people :) Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out and joining the call. It seems that there is a
community of news developers growing in Uganda, a Hacks/Hackers chapter
started up last year in Kampala: https://twitter.com/HacksHackersKla

If anyone has any other thoughts/suggestions, please join in. I'll
definitely keep an eye out for additional resources and people in that
region.

promoting the creation of several Hacks/Hackers projects in Africa.
Also I can reccomend you to reach out to the African News Challenge
mailing list (email: AfricanNew...@googlegroups.com). There is
a large group of smart and fun technologist, designers, journalist and
civic media people in that list that I am sure wil be able to help
you.

Thanks for the reply. I've checked the group, can't see how to contact them, will keep trying. I don't see developers though.
