Hi all, meet Llewellyn; and Llewellyn please subscribe to
https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/community-local-sites ;)
So, Llewellyn was looking for some way to help/contribute to Mozilla & he
is good with HTML, CSS, JS & Python. So it stuck me the project with exact
combination of these four & needing some man-hour & care. Below was my
response to the him in the Mozillians' thread - I'm quoting for the context:
Mozilla's web-framework bedrock (
https://github.com/mozilla/bedrock) has a
new customized one-mozilla theming framework called "sandstone" (
https://github.com/mozilla/bedrock/tree/master/media/css/sandstone). It
works like a charm for the projects hosted on bedrock stack (most of the
mozilla.org sites), but it gives a hard time for other CMS/Frameworks to
use it (as it's closely coupled to bedrock). Can you give some time to
split it out of bedrock & derive sandstone into a standalone repository (so
that it can be used in more versatile manner)?
Llewellyn affirmed, that he's willing to work on this task, so here I'm
formally initiating the thread for for discussions regarding the same. Help
him by giving suggestions & collaborations, as you can.
Thanks,
