Hello Everyone,

Following up with Pan Community India Meetup, the Crafting Community India
has been introduced.

A small introduction for people who missed it:
The goal of Mozilla Crafting community is to Build a community of people
who love the web and love crafting (knitting, crocheting, sewing, glass
blowing et all) in order to create cool hand made items that can be given
to contributors and/or offered through the new Mozilla store.

This is a good opportunity for all those mozillians who show their love for
the web through art and craft. The Crafting Community also aims at
involving more mozillians through their "crafty" skills.

I have created a
etherpad<https://india.etherpad.mozilla.org/Crafting-Community-India>
to
gather your valuable responses, feedback and suggestions about this
initiative. Also if anyone is interested please add your name and email in
the etherpad.
You can find more information in the
presentation<http://prezi.com/p5v4teunfxlx/crafting-community/> I
gave in the meetup.Anybody can use/modify it for their events if they want.

Diwanshi,

This is great to hear -- thanks for sharing.

If you'd like to share with others who may be interested, you may want to post to the community...@mozilla.org list.

There is also a crafting category on the about:community blog. If you'd like to post there with any news about the Crafting Community India, I'd be happy to give you access.

https://blog.mozilla.org/community/category/crafting/

If there's anything else we can help you with, let us know.

Thanks,
David

Hey Diwanshi,

I think this is an awesome initiative and would like to see the word about
it spread around. Would you like to do a writeup about the Mozilla Crafting
Community?

Let me know if you would like to make a post about it and I can help you
get it up on the Mozilla India Blog. :)

Regards,
Sayak

Hi Diwanshi,

I am so excited about this crafty initiative! There is also a community-crafting list, which some of you may want to join and I’d love to have you share your proposal there: https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/community-crafting and we could certainly syndicate a post to the crafty section of the about:community blog.

Lets keep talking,

Larissa
