On 9 september turns Firefox 10 maybe a good reason to organize
something around that date...

Hey all, I can take the lead and organize it in Eindhoven if everybody
agrees with it. I have created a small poll to choose dates:
http://doodle.com/k8bnkzs6gpmnv7dm . I chose those dates mainly because
those are the dates I mainly can.

Today during T-DOSE, Tim, Martijn and I discussed about this and we
thought it would be better if we only do the MozCafe instead of also
doing a private meeting of Mozillians, but comments are always welcome
if you think this would be necessary.

What thinks would be needed for it? would we need a projector or only a
place with coffee and food? anything else?

hope to hear from all of you soon,

Hi,

I can come Saturday 15 or 29 november. I can't go in december.
I don't know if we want to do presentations. I can only give
presentations about testing and automated testing.

It was nice seeing you, Mark en Tim. I had a great time, talking with
all the people there.
I uploaded the latest pictures now at

Another thing we could do is to invite people that have problems/isues
with Firefox to investigate and fix them.

As often on Mozilla pages everything seems limited to Firefox. Maybe
it's possible to extend this to include support for Thunderbird,
SeaMonkey, Lightning, FirefoxOS, WebMaker, etc...

Onno,

Sure, whenever it is related to Mozilla (or even other related open source software), we could have experts available.

Firefox is just the most well-known and therefore perhaps the easiest to support. But we can do more than that...

Indeed we are supporting more than just firefox, but we have to be careful to promote that we can help users on an event with for example Seamonkey while we don't have someone in our community who have a lot of experience with that product.

Then we first have to investigate who can support what type of Mozilla-software.

For me that's mostly Firefox and Nvu / Kompozer for building websites.

I know there are also some Thunderbird-users in our community and perhaps some use Lightning for their agenda.

In my case I actually use as my main mailing system thunderbird, and as my main calendar lightning (both with a lot of plugins, synchronization, etc). Plus, I use firefox and firefox OS, and also I implemented in my blog login using mozilla persona.

Only 3 people have replied to the doodle thingy, so the others don't want a mozcafe?

Sorry, I missed the Doodle link, but I'm afraid I can't really say at the
moment if I'll be available or not those Saturdays...

For me I think Eindhoven is a bit to far foa an ordinairy saturday.
Furthermore I am pretty occupied in november.
I suggest to skip it to somewhere in 2015.

Well, this meeting is not planned to be like the one in april, but just a simple MosCafe, so also we need to make clear if people is gonna get reimbursed travel expenses or not. Tim, you know about this?

I’ll watch the Eindhoven date. If I can make it I”ll come over.

Martijn, really like the idea of a Nieuwjaarsborrel. Most companies do this so why not do this with the community. I propose to use the same place in Utrecht like we did in April? Friday evening January 2nd or somewhere week of Jan 5th.

Remco.

So I think I will fix the date for saturday november 29. Location is still to be determined. Tim help me here: Only coffee is to be paid, right? we can take some swag and stuff, but travel reimbursement does not apply here, does it?

I think we have to fix a other date (also my lack of response is a
problem ;) ), we can't make promotion anymore and i think you didn't ask
for a budget yet.

In your budget request you can ask how to handle travelreimbursement.
For a communityday is it possible but for a MozCoffee i am not sure

Let's go for a new year event
