Ideas for Great Recruitment web pages

Hi all,

As I said on the call, we would love to see great examples of Recruitment Pages on the web: pages that solicit users to actually take the big leap from lurker to participant.

We have been looking at things like Army/ Navy etc websites (which are about nothing but recruitment!) as well as social networks, web apps etc. Anything really that does a good job of communicating what the great reward for joining a site is.

If you have any ideas, please share some links and let us know what you think it is that works so well about your example.

I know it's a bit hard and crazy at the same time. But if you remeber http://www.time.com/time/covers/0,16641,20061225,00.html i think it could be cool if there's a direct way to engage people through their own faces (webcam needed and maybe flash - which is not free software and it's unfair...) but you got my point right?

Unfortunately now, as far as i know.

But, i mean, this was just an instant idea. I think it would definitely involve flash.

Hey Carlo,

I like this, this is great thinking. I think you are right that it might be hard to implement in an open way, but creative solutions for engaging people are just what we need!

While Skype doesn't have the best quality video, I keep going back to it because of, well, my nieces. They video chat all the time. Seems like a marketing angle. Even with the gritty quality of Skype, I can't help but wonder if there is potential, like the way some TV commercials show people talking on the phone.
