Discussions!

Hi all,

First of all, my apologies for the delay. Life happens and we all have
other things we're working on.

I'm going to start kicking off discussions in just a minute. Please, I want
to hear lots of noise and opinions, me toos, half formed thoughts - we need
to inspire each other and really have some conversations so we can pick a
direction.

I also have something to ask. I have had an aha moment about priorities
this summer. For a project to be successful, it needs to be the top
priority for at least one person who is working on it. Is there anyone else
on this list who can say that at least until November, helping launch the
Dev Derby is their #1 Mozilla project? I don't care if it isn't, I also
don't care if it's #1 to you but you're only getting started contributing
to Mozilla. I just need to identify the people who will be able to help me
drive progress. I already know we can trust the rest of you to provide
guidance and a helping hand and that is more than appreciated!

Alright, so please chime in with all your thoughts, feel free to take a
leadership role on anything that stands out to you, start any discussions
you'd like to and of course invite any others you think would want to help
us out!

Hi Majken,

Thanks for the topic specific discussions thread. I believe I can work with
the Derby Contest project with top priority. Currently, I am localizing MDN
articles and no other big projects (also, I've not been directly involved
in any Mozilla project other than the local events). Still I believe I'll
be capable to engage into the project with highest priority.

I'll come up with more thoughts when I'm home.
