New target date

Hi all,

I am getting feedback from interested people, but I think we are definitely
all too busy with the summit. I think we should "Slip" our target date and
try and have our first new contest in January.

Is there anyone who has been too busy so far to jump in that would be able
to help drive the relaunch after the summit?

Right now I need people to keep up with the discussions and give opinions!
We're not really at a point yet for doing any site building or swag design.
We have to make certain decisions first.

PS and maybe, those of us who are attending summit can arrange a
talk/meeting regarding this? I think this will be helpful.

John is going to reply with more info about updates to MDN, which we should
take into consideration. I'm also realizing that we will need time for
legal to review any changes we make to the contest. Also, if we were to
have our first contest in January then we would be announcing in December,
so maybe that's what you're thinking anyway!

Just wanted to jump in to note that whatever date is chosen should be reflected on the Dev Derby homepage (right now it says November). Just let me know when a decision is made and we will be sure to make the change.

Also please let me know if you have any questions about legal (good point Kensie) or anything else that might affect this transition.
