Monday Crafty - Focus on contributor recognition!

Hi Crafty People!

We had a wonderfully successful first go around of crafting together!

We made metal tags during a brown bag lunch on Monday in the San
Francisco and Mountain View offices. We signed up a bunch of new
interested Mozillians. (Welcome, new crafters!)

We would like to do more of this and put to a special emphasis on
creating gifts to give to our amazing contributors.

This Monday at 12:30 pm PST, we're having another crafty hangout at MV and SF.

If you have a project you're working on (e.g. your knitting), feel
free to bring it over!

We will also have the following supplies with us:

MV 10-FWD: metal stamping, knitting needles, crochet hooks, yarn
SF Commons: rubber stamp making, metal stamping


We'd also love input on how to support remote participation in our
crafting sessions. We want to include everyone... likewise, if you
work at or hang out at a Mozilla space or community, and want to be
the Steward of Craftiness (this seems to mean having skeins of yarn
and metal stamps under your desk or in your laptop bag) for your space
or region, let us know! We'll start tracking that on the wiki at the
next meeting.

Some of our community also has made knitted firefoxy scarves which we
will begin to send to contributors and wants to discuss with us the
possibility of a project-wide scarf effort. So many things to discuss.
