Hello Mozillians!

As you know, translation quality is a high priority for all of Mozilla's
localization projects. Until now, when a user finds a translation issue,
the only process for them to provide feedback has been to "file a bug."
The l10n-drivers have been reviewing standardized, centralized, and more
sophisticated ways for Mozillians to provide translation feedback to
localizers.

We are currently evaluating two translation quality assessment standards
and their accompanying tools. We've created a pilot project to evaluate
the quality of the new string translations between Firefox OS 2.1 - 2.2
using these tools. We're looking for 20 Mozillian raters to use these
tools to evaluate the translation accuracy of these strings according to
the criteria in these translation quality standards.

If you are willing to help with this project, please fill out this form
- http://goo.gl/forms/Cc4BDI9UAm

Once selected, you will view a training about how to participate in this
task, as well as about the criteria for performing the evaluation. All
you need to participate is a browser.

This session will take place 8-12 June. There will be a video training
that you will need to complete before 4 June to participate. If you have
any questions about the training, you can join us in
#translation-quality on Mozilla's IRC server.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
Jeff

Hi everyone!

There's still time for more Mozillians to get involved in this project.
Please reach out to all of the Spanish speaking Mozillians you can and
invite them to register here <http://goo.gl/forms/ixqwKSLDTx>. We're
looking for Mozillians who have either already participated in a
translation quality evaluation, have been involved with localizing
Mozilla projects, or are actively using Firefox on a pre-release channel
(Nightly, Aurora, or Beta) in Spanish.

Thanks for your help!
Jeff
