Hi North American friends!
It was awesome meeting some of you a few weeks ago in San Francisco! I hope you had a productive and fun trip, and please let me know when you're in town again, would love to meet up. For those of you who don't know me, I'm one of the Events Program Managers for Mozilla, and I help field sponsorship and speaker requests for developer-focused events that come in.
The Dev Engagement Team is considering a sponsorship for the FITC Web Unleashed event in Boston, Nov 7-8. It's 6 yrs running, and advertised as a front-end developer event with 250 attendees. The first day is a half day of workshops, the 2nd day is presentations, and includes CSS, HTML5 and JS topics.
Were any of you planning on attending/supporting this? As you may know already, in order for a sponsorship to be granted from Developer Engagement, one of the criteria is whether we have a physical Mozillian presence there. I've included anyone who may have a connection to the Boston area on this email, please forward to those who may be interested in this event.
To be clear - we aren't necessarily looking to staff this event at this point, this email is simply a temperature gauge so my team can make an informed decision on whether we should sponsor this. Feel free to ask if you have any questions!

I would say the event sounds beneficial considering its scope and nature
but without a Mozillian there I also think its not as worthwhile since
nobody will be on the ground to evangelize.
The good news is there are lots of other opportunities.
