Given Brendan Eich has resigned, I suppose that FirefoxOS is now dead de
facto. Most of the markets of FirefoxOS are countries with people
largely against gay marriage.

Trying to impose point of view of rich countries on poor countries is
clearly the most efficient method for killing all future markets of
FirefoxOS in these countries. It will be received, by people, more or
less like this:

The definition of "inclusiveness by Mozilla" is only inclusive of rich
people against poor (point of view of poor has no importance and they
don't have even the right to tell it without being excluded of
"inclusiveness by Mozilla"; their only right is to obey to all desires
of rich people).

Can you confirm FirefoxOS project is terminated (following this
marketing choice)?

Thank you for a response,
Dan.

NB: I'm interested in technical / marketing response on FirefoxOS (not
on subject of resignation).

Hey Dan,

this list is kind of dead one, so may not see many answers.

I understand from your email that you want an official answer on your
questions, so I suggest you try pr...@mozilla.org.

For anything else I suggest you read our manifesto [1] and our mission
[2] in order to understand better how we roll.

Hey Fredy,

Thanks for your response,

Yes, I have seen before sending my mail, but it was the only generic
mailing-list specifically for community on FirefoxOS, and I was not
really interested in general@ because it is containing currently too
much non technical discussions (like users going out of Mozilla Firefox).

I am only a mobile developer wanting to know if FirefoxOS has a future
and need to be a subject of interest. Then I will not send a mail to
pr...@mozilla.org because I'm not interested by communication words.

Given mobile war, for me, a lack of clear and public roadmap including
technical and marketing aspects is like a dead end for open source
against others OS supported by big companies with deep pockets like
Android (Google compatible or Nokia fork) or free Windows Phone. Then I
have a reasonably sufficient response to my question by lack of clear
solutions for resolving new big marketing problems caused by Brendan
Eich's resigning.

Thanks,
Good luck in development,
Bye,
Dan.

Hey,

My personal opinion is that Firefox OS has a future and it is worth to
be interested in it as a mobile developer.

About the technical roadmap you can check it in our wiki [1]. As far as
the marketing and partnerships roadmap, I am not aware if there is a
specific page for it, however you can check the latest announcements on
Mozilla's blog [2][3][4].
