For those that work with RPM-Based systems like CentOS to deploy
Mozilla apps, that might be interesting to share.
I have started the "pypi2rpm" project. This project provides a script
that you can use to create a RPM package out of a python project. For
instance, to create a RPM out of WebOb, you can do:
$ pypi2rpm.py webob
It'll grab the latest WebOb release at PyPI and create a RPM
(python-webob) out of it. It uses the latest Disutils2 API for this.
Since I am dropping bdist_rpm support in Distutils2, I might maintain
a rpm command in this project, compatible with distutils1 and
distutils2.
