Folks,

Mozilla Labs is defunct, and it has been for a while. The last post to its blog was in 2013, and there have only been two (non-spam) messages in this discussion forum this year. We should archive the website and this forum so we stop misleading people about its status.

I propose we put a message on the website explaining the current status of Mozilla Labs and then disable posting to this discussion forum. I would still leave the existing content on the site, and all existing posts to the forum would still be available. So no content would disappear. It would just be clear that Mozilla Labs is no longer in operation.

Works for me.

Ok, I filed https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1199848 to make the website part of it happen. I'll archive this discussion forum once the website is archived.
