i am still having problems where some sites recognise my tablet as a
tablet, but a lot still report it as a phone. is there anyway around
this?

This is because your "tablet" uses the mobile rendering aspects od the
pages. You need a real Tablet PC, for the tablet to be seen
correctly, not an Android or iOS toy.
