I would really prefer NOT to have my social media integrated with
Firefox, or receive notifications about activities coming from those
services. Firefox has become extremely user-friendly recently with
anticipated URLs and other features, so I'm happy with those
developments. But the onrushing flow of the social media needs to be
kept out of it (for me, anyway). The only think I could think of to
add would be a URL shortener for Twitter, but I have one on a link in
my bookmarks bar and that's easy enough. And I get good reports from
it (ilnk.me). That's all I need, and I've really already got it! So
chill, guys/gals, chill!

Hi, Ernie!

Anything we propose would of course be totally optional - we have no interest in cluttering up your browser with information you don't want.

We hear your feedback, though.  Let me ask you - do you use any special-purpose social applications today, on your desktop or mobile?  What is it about those applications that you like best?
