Just wondered if it was possible, or if anyone has any thoughts of
packaging prism up as if it were a bespoke application. i.e. we can
give users an exe or an msi and the web URL would be pre-defined and
non-editable in this.

Thanks,

Jon

Hello

On a mac you can use packagemaker, but on a Windows pc... The same
software must exist? I think so.

Bye and merry christmas

I am also looking into this for supporting a web app - not as a
product, but more as a "download this correctly configured browser" -
basically I want to pre-configure trusted sites (our web app plus our
vendor's apps that we pass through) and cookies behaviors so that we
can be sure that's done when helping someone on the phone.

Is it possible to put those security settings in? It's interesting,
because I see where that would be a huge security hole, but on the
other hand standard security settings (and warnings) are hard to
understand for most end users, and they prohibit the easy interchange
of information that our web app needs.

So, here's hoping =)

There are two popular free setup compilers for Windows - NSIS and Inno Setup.

Inno: http://www.jrsoftware.org/isinfo.php
NSIS: http://nsis.sourceforge.net/
