I'm new to all of this, so I don't really know my way around jetpack
just yet, but I'm trying to learn. I'm following the tutorial, letter
for letter, but when I get to the part about running my first program,
I run into trouble. I run "cfx run" and it gives me this error
message:

Using binary at '/Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-
bin'.
Using profile at '/var/folders/4g/4ghMzwVBGyG7RlkK0D0q9k+++TI/-Tmp-/
tmpWKtHoC.mozrunner'.
error: An exception occurred.

Why is this happening?

What version is that Firefox?

That's a known bug, that has a patch waiting review. It should be fixed in the next release of the SDK.

Until that change is released the best combination, as far as I know, is SDK 0.9 and Firefox 4 beta 6.

All right, thanks. When can I expect the patch?

Until then, you can get Firefox 4 beta 6 from http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/4.0b6/
Install it like /Applications/Firefox-4.0b6.app for example, and when you test your jetpack, run it like:

cfx run -b /Applications/Firefox-4.0b6.app
