We've just spun Add-on SDK 1.14rc2, the second release candidate of the
next stable release of the SDK, available as a
tarball
and a
ZIP archive.
The build was built from the
1.14rc2 tag and includes several
changes since 1.14rc1.
This release candidate includes several test fixes.
Of
major note in this RC is much better support for the upcoming
per-window private browsing feature, shipping in Firefox 20 in about one week.
This
blog post
gives an overview of what's changing.
It is really important for you to test your addons
with this SDK beta (preferably with both Firefox 19 and a beta build of
Firefox 20) as soon as possible to make sure everything works with the private browsing
changes.
Try out this build, and let us know how it works for you! It's
important to test this so we can judge any last-minute issues that are raised before we release SDK 1.14 later this week.
You can report any problems you discover via a
bug
report or by posting to this discussion group.
