Role- QA Android Tester
Location - Bridgewater, NJ
Duration - 6+months
Start Date- Immediate
Note: We need only 3-4 years of experience not more than 4 years of experience
The candidate would be responsible for QA testing of applications and new features along with test plan creation. Engineer should also
be able to report bugs, reproduce the issues and work with other mobile teams to improve the product quality. The candidate would be
expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
JOB DUTIES
-Support R&D lab for Application feature testing,
-Exploratory testing and customer specific tests.
-Develop test plans, test cases for new features/ applications covering core functionality and corner case scenarios based on the
customer requirements.
-Report and manage bugs and work with development team to drive them to resolution.
-Validate and verify issues and fixes.
-Create and execute automation scripts for testing various applications.
-Work with team members to constantly come up with better innovative ideas for feature and application testing and help drive the product quality to the highest standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Prior 3-4 years of SW testing experience, including test case creation.
-Prior experience with wireless products or other telephony products highly desirable.
-Familiar with Android platform, usage of ADB, DDMS tools, taking logs is highly desirable.
-Usage of QPST, QXDM tools, PST tools is a plus.
-Strong organizational and analytical skills.
-Team player, commitment to schedule, and product quality.
