The only documentation at the moment is at

If you navigate to an existing hOCR file, the "Edit this hOCR document"
item should enable itself [1]. Alternatively, if you'd like to start a
new hOCR file from an image, navigate to that image first.
I admit that I should find a way to make this much more obvious. :)
Thanks for trying out the program and letting me know that you ran into
issues. If you find any more, please don't hesitate to bring them up.
