This year saw day in and day out crazy rains, thunderstorms, fallen trees and an over all dull atmosphere . We at superbee were also bored with just easy maintenance and other everyday work at the garage. Here drops in our sunshine . A well sort after ford fiesta S , and can you believe the car has done 120000km . Kudos to the owner for handing us such a wonderful clean car . It was surely a delight .

The car came to us fairly stock performance wise , with just a rusted out exhaust. So lets begin . The fiesta 1.6 S is among the very few cult performance cars launched in india. Sharing the status with the likes of the Honda city type 2, skoda octavia vrs type 1 etc . From the factory the car came with a1596cc inline 4 , 4 valve engine producing a decent 101 ps @ 6500 rpm and 246 NM @3400 rpm mated to a 5 speed manual.

The owner wanted a peppy fun weekend car . So we started of by taking of the old rusted out exhaust , designing and fabricating our own equal length headder design , resonated and with a maganflow high performance muffler . The complete exhaust system is fabricated fully in 304 grade stainless steel .

Its not just about letting the waist exhaust out but also being able to get in proper amounts of air . We designed a new intake system. With custom 3 inch plumping and a BMC cold air intake kit . Only the best quality silicon intake connectors are used. But all this will be useless if the ecu cant detect the upgrades . So our remap division stepped in to create a custom set up for the car with references to the upgrades .

So the street performance sunshine is now ready . The car has a whole new character . Before the map we noticed that the new exhaust had Tremendous low end grunt but up top was lagging . Now with the map added and the rev limiter increased to 7000 rpms , the car revs happy through out . With the 16 inch wheels and Michelin pilot sport tires , along with the suspension . The car handles sharply , a little bit of torque street is noticed with added power and superb low end torque . Happy to see that the over all package has turned out good and we got to work on this very beautiful car .
