Am still having this exact problem, and I also can't work out how to make a new post here myself, seems to be impossible!! When I open the new 2 premium months refer a friend autumn offer refer a friend link, both from the in app notification, and the email I have received, it just tells me there was a problem and to try later, this happened the last time I was sent one of these offers too, please can you explain why this is happening? I have a friend I would like to refer but you keep teasing me with broken links
Today, i'm going to the premium family page of Sporify India to prepaid new plan 6 or 12 months but the problems is spotify don't allow me to pay prepaid plan 6 or 12 months family anymore. Now it's only allow to pay 1 or 3 months, that is a problem because me and my family need long time plan like 6 or 12 months, we don't like 1 or 3 month.
Previously, Spotify in India could prepay 12 months and 6 months of family premiums in one-time payment, but today, when I wanted to prepay 12months of family premium, it was missing. Currently, the maximum time that can be prepaid is 3 months . But individual premium and duo premium are normal.
Bring back Spotify family one year family plan because nobody likes buying for 3 months prepaid. You have to offer for a year and i will not continue next year if there is no spotify family plan one year when i renew next time.
Its sad there is no 1 year prepaid family subscription. If this is a glitch then please fix it orelse bring back Spotify one year family plan .I have 3 family who live as joint family and we are purchasing since 3 years .If not we will be forced to discontinue.
I will no longer be subscribing as it is not worth my time. Losing my playlist if I don't remember to subscribe is frustrating, and since I don't believe in auto-renewal, I would rather switch to other platforms.
As pointed out in subject matter. I've been rewarded with a redeem code for 3-months Spotify premium from Microsoft Rewards system. Suggestions provided by Microsoft were to go here: and put in the code. That resulted in the following error "Siamo spiacenti, non puoi usufruire di questo piano. Ma ci sono altri modi per passare a Premium."
Take into account that, as @Maxim mentioned, this offer is for users who haven't tried Premium before. This doesn't only apply to accounts but to payment methods. That means if you already used the payment method to get Premium in another account, you won't be able to get the offer.
Hi Spotify team and users,
I would really enjoy if I could see what I listened to one and two years ago, or longer. I've had Spotify for over 6 years so imagine how the music taste changes.
Sometimes it's so much fun finding an old song you used to love but haven't heard for so long. Maybe you could be able to access your old Starred playlist from a year or more ago etc. Possibilities are endless!
I've spent whole nights just looking for and playing nostalgic music, and imagine how good it would be for the artists.
Hope it'll be considered!
Kind regards,
Ella
So, kinda like how Facebook will bring up "Memories" from some past time, intermittently? Like, now and then Spotify could just send like, five songs and say "These songs were some of your favorites three years ago". That would be amazing. If that's not precisely what you were thinking, then maybe I'll make another idea-post suggesting that.
That is the reason why Last.Fm exist, and that's why we can connect it through spotify. Imho spotify shouldn't have this feature. The melomaniac people as me have a good control of our old songs and our favorite ones in last.fm. Only saying... Instead, we need more features to create a better experience to Last.fm, as an integrated heart to mark fav songs or a direct way for play our favorite songs of Last.Fm.
Good idea but it will never happen. Spotify has clearly not shown any interest in providing publicly the play counts etc. of what users listen to and have aleays pushed us to use the integrated Last.fm option.
I don't particularly care about Last.FM. Why do I have to subscribe to another service? Spotify once had a robust history in the Que section. I was astounded by the play history it had and there were artists/songs I had forgotten that I had tried out and liked, but never wrote down. Now, it's a paltry 40-50 songs. As I often play through whole albums, that leaves me with a handful of albums in history. Implement a better history, Spotify.
Earlier this year, I started creating a new playlist every month called "08/2016" (or whatever), and I put every great song I discover that month into that playlist. It's changed my life for the better. I just cycled back to my March playlist and have a renewed love for everything on it!
Might i add though you'd already know;
Php 65 - 1 month student premium
Php 75 - 2 months student premium
and if the plan is already gone or unavailable anymore why am I being charged for the 2 months premium instead?
If you've activated the offer for two months for the price of one, your account will automatically roll onto a standard Premium for Students subscription at the end of the 2 months. This could be the reason why you've been charged after the two months Php 75.
You are advertising a premium plan for students discounted to only PHP 65. Upon going through the whole process of verification and getting verified (SheerID Verification), now it's making me pay for dollars amounting to $5.99 plus tax. Not discounted at all. You can even get a monthly plan for just PHP 129, regardless if you're a student or not, which is way better than paying that $5.99. Is this Premium Student Plan still available?
The Student plan has different prices in different countries. We'd recommend you set the country of your Spotify account to the country that your university/ college is in and the country that you're currently in. This way you'll get the current price for Student Premium in your country.
So I got a notification from spotifys app today saying that if I subscribed now, I would get 2 months of premium for free instead of 1. However when I subscribed it didn't show any 2 months options, and it signed me up for the 1 month free trial. Was it a scam?
Based on the description of your post, we're understanding that you're having issues with redeeming one of our offers. If that's the case and if you're getting an error message when trying to redeem the offer - it means that you're not eligible.
Keep in mind that the current 3 months Premium offer is for people that haven't tried Premium before - new subscribers. This can also happen if you've paid for Premium in the past on another account with the same payment method or if your account was on Premium as member of a Family plan before. In those cases it won't be possible to activate any trial offer as well. For full information on the topic, check out this support article.
If you haven't been a subscriber before, then you should be able to get the 3 months - we recommend trying to subscribe in a different browser or in an incognito window to avoid any issues caused by the saved cache or cookies.
We checked the current offers available to users in France and it looks like the 3-month Premium student trial offer has ended on the 12th of September and this is why you're getting only two months if you've signed up for Premium on a later date.
Hello, I'm confused because I subscribed to the premium package because you had a free three months offer but after paying I saw that the next billing would be the next month. I had met the terms of the offer. I'm in Kenya. Can you please help me
Since then, I have gone through all my credit card charges, trying to cut down on my monthly expenses, and I noticed that Spotify has charged me twice for 9 months! I bring this to their attention, and Spotify said that it was their fault. When I logged in with Facebook, it somehow made two accounts. So for 9 months, I was getting billed twice for premium service (only receiving one email a month from Spotify letting me know that my credit card was going to be charged). The only fault I have in this is not checking my statement from the beginning.
So instead of refunding me the money that they owe me, they want to give me credit. At this point, I want nothing to do with Spotify. I don't want free months, and that is what they keep offering me. I have never had to work so hard to get money back that was taken from me. Spotify, admit something went wrong, and fix it. Why would I keep using your service when you keep trying to take advantage of me? If you would have just given me the credit I was owed in the first place, I would be singing your praises.
Coming to this forum certainly helped. After I posted here I emailed customer service one more time and finally got a response. So either 3rd time is really a charm or somehow posting in this community sends off some techi smoke signals ..Looks like this is happening all over spotify because when you sign up or in through Facebook it's actually adifferent account? or something like that. So you could have hit the Facebook sign up button by mistake or did so intentionally thinking that it would prompt your current account, but thats not the case. Seems it creats a whole new account, ergo (sp?) the double billing...anyways they kindly fixed the problem and when I asked for a credit they kindly credited my account. I, like you, LOVE my Premium account and didnt want to have to let it go (while I LOVE it I will kindly leave ANY service that doesnt respect their customers) so I was and AM one HAPPY Camper...hit up customer service one more time and you should get an email back, I'd bet within the same day. I'm back to being a spotify lover and poster gal again (lol) ...I hpe you have the same great experience...:)
