I bought the MB V2.0 to do a DPF regeneration on my Mercedes C Class W204. It carried out that procedure easily so I am happy with the purchase. I have looked at a few of the other main systems, and I do have one fault in my engine control module however there are no warning lights associated with it, so I assume that the problem is not serious (yet)

We have a Mercedes E Class W212 with a suspension fault. The air was leaving the air bags of an evening to the point where the car would be really low the next morning. I have used this kit as recommended by Diagnostic World to diagnose the fault codes and description. The faults are now rectified and no more low Mercedes when I get in the next morning.

My Mercedes C Class was displaying the ABS/ESP warning lights. We bought the MB V2.0 kit to diagnose the fault which it did with ease and allowed us to find the fault with a front right ABS sensor. Worked flawlessly on my wife's Mercedes A Class to clear the airbag light. I am not entirely sure what the airbag fault was, the warning light randomly came on when driving home from work, and it did give me a fault code and description but I was able to reset it and it hasn't come back on for over 2 weeks, It must have been an intermittant fault. In our Family we have a Mercedes E Class W211, and a C Class W205. Both of these have had recent services by our mobile mechanic but his reset tool did not cover Mercedes (He normally only works on Ford) so we bought the MB V2.0 tool to do the resets. The check engine light was lit up in my 2011 B Class. I bought this kit to do my own maintenence on the car, and also found the cause of the light, it was a MAP sensor which cost me 30 to replace and was soooo simple. Quality bit of equipment I must say, updates are fre for life and easy to do (but you need a Windows machine not a mac) 10 out of 10.

I am in the market for a nice family C Class W205 and really do not have a lot of experience with using these tools or buying cars so I bought it as a back up to help me find any potential problems. So far I have looked at 2 cars, one of which seemed to have about 5 different fault codes stored in the ECU. Still looking for the right car but will be using this in future when I look at the next one for sure.
