Is true that a special version of MovPY is required to use SciPy,
NumPy, Visual (VPython), win32com,win32gui?

No. The win32 stuff is included 'out of the box' and it should be
straightforward to add the other libraries to Movable Python.

So when I install them, I point the installation at the MovPY/lib
directory or just copy the subdirectories over from the current installation?

Yep, adding them to movpy/lib will usually be enough. See this reference
