Call for Applications: Master in Human Rights. 
Institute for Human Rights and Peace Studies (IHRP) at Mahidol University, Thailand
                                                     Deadline for Applications: June 15, 2014.
The IHRP is pleased to announce the call for applications to the Master of Human Rights. As the longest running graduate programme in human rights in Asia, it has strong connections to human rights concerns, organizations, and research in the region. Graduates of the program will develop:
·         excellent research skills for human rights work
·         contemporary knowledge of Human Rights theory
·         practical skills in human rights promotion and protection
Our graduates go on to careers in international organizations, international and grassroots NGOs, academic programs, and civil society sectors.
The IHRP offers a limited number of partial fee-waver scholarships to outstanding candidates. The partial fee waiver will reduce the course fees for students for up to 25% of course costs. To qualify for the fee waiver applicants must have:
·         An outstanding academic record
·         A research proposal in an area of relevance for human rights promotion and protection in Southeast Asia
For details of the fees, please visit the IHRP website. The degree is very competitively priced in comparison to other Masters of human rights around the world.
The MA program involves two semesters of coursework beginning in August, 2014 and an individual research project. IHRP provides extensive research training and advising throughout the degree. The MA can be completed in 12 months.
