MOCO is the international conference on movement and computing. MOCO aims to gather academics and practitioners interested in the computational study, modelling, representation, segmentation, recognition, analysis, classification, or generation of movement information. MOCO is welcoming disciplinary and interdisciplinary research encompassing art & science.
The MOCO conference has been held annually since 2014, and biannually since 2022. It is a medium-sized conference with an attendance of about 100-150 attendees, and has traditionally intended to be accessible and affordable both to organisers (in terms of organisation complexity and financial burden) and to participants. We are seeking institutions interested in hosting MOCO'28 and beyond.
Important dates:
Deadline for applications for hosting MOCO’28: Jan 31st, 2026.
Proposals for hosting MOCO’30 are also welcome on Jan 31st, 2026.
