I'm trying to install the hydro version of moveit from source, and when I use the command:
rosdep install --from-paths src --ignore-src --rosdistro hydro -y

I receive the following error message:
ERROR: the following packages/stacks could not have their rosdep keys resolved
to system dependencies:
moveit_ros_perception: Cannot locate rosdep definition for [pcl]

Ros hydro desktop full and pcl 1.7 are both installed from source on this machine.  If anyone has insight on this error, I would appreciate hearing it.

Thank you,
Isaac

looking into the dependency document I found that there is a link to:

for hydro, and that there is no such document on github.  The groovy link was also not on github.  The fuerte yaml was present.

Isaac,

Are you sure your hydro sources are up to date? moveit_ros_perception no longer uses pcl, only pcl_conversions (which does not depend on pcl).

I ran into this issue today as well on one of our labs computers. The quick fix was just manually install pcl

> sudo apt-get install ros-hydro-pcl

But something certainly is wrong. I've seen some other hick-ups in PCL dependencies on machines that have both Hydro and Groovy. Mostly just reinstalling everything PCL related seems to be a work around.
