Trash/Garbage Problem on Pondside Terrace

There is a significant trash disposal problem at the end of Pondside
Terrace. Some residents perpetually leave their trash barrels out at
the curb and never bring them in. There are barrels that have been
left curbside for over three months. Some of the barrels do not have
covers and frequently open barrels with trash or open plastic bags
full of garbage are sitting at the curb throughout the week. Of
course, rodents and other animals are in and out of the barrels and
bags strewing trash around. As a result, the curbside area is being
littered with trash and rotting garbage which is further exacerbating
our ongoing rat infestation problem.

This problem has been reported to Liberty Management on numerous
occasions and nothing has been done about it. Is there not a $50,00
assessment to be billed to owners who do not comply with the community
rule about proper trash storage and disposal?

I have tried to send this notice twice previously... so if you've
received this already... my apologies. I tried to Post it as a
discussion... but it does not appear in the Discussion list.

Hello,
I haven't been online for several days, so I missed this discussion.

Trash seems to be an ongoing problem, and I will bring it up again at the monthly Board of Directors meeting on Monday.

Please feel free to come to the meeting to express your concerns in person. It's this coming Monday, January 28 at 7:00 pm at the South County Center.
