Apache kafka protocol support?

Any thoughts on whether it would be easy to support Apacha Kafka (low and/or high level consumer API and producer API)?

I guess like the MQ support/question, in the meantime, one could try proxying to mock kafka (for producing or consuming).

Hi there,
Based on a quick glance through the docs, I suspect it's closer to the not-so-easy side of the spectrum :).  You can certainly give proxying a shot, but unless someone implements a kafka server in node, I suspect this is unlikely to get native support in mountebank.
