Commonlyused forms in Family Law proceedings including petitions for different types of restraining orders, child custody and support cases, and parentage may be found on the Judicial Council's website, this website, or at most Superior Court locations throughout Alameda County. If you are seeking legal assistance, court staff cannot give you legal advice. Please visit the Resources and Referrals page for more information.

Rules are procedures that the Court requires parties to follow when they file a court case. Each Superior Court in each county may have different local rules in addition to the state rules. Alameda Superior Court's local rules can be accessed through the link below:

The information provided by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services website is provided as a public service and is intended for the informational use and convenience of interested persons and should not be considered a substitute for the advice of legal counsel. The information contained herein is updated on a regular basis. The official version of the rules is available from the Administrative Code Division of the Illinois Secretary of State's office. Illinois statutes (Laws) are available from the Illinois Legislative Services website.

Further, if you find any errors, omissions, broken links, or outdated material under the Rules and Procedures links, we encourage you to report them the DCFS Office of Child and Family Policy by email at DCFS....@illinois.gov or 217-524-1983.

My team wanted to add subtasks to a form submission based on the data that was submitted. We have three questions asking if you need help with marketing, a speaker, and swag. For each of those three options, we have a series of subtasks we want to add to the parent task. Trying to do this using a few simple rules lead to all of the rules triggering simultaneously and the subtasks being mixed together, see Rules triggering and running simultaneously where I tried to explain my issue.

As I show in the video, you could also use this architecture to assign these subtasks to different people or assign different relative due dates based on the form data. Additionally you could multi-home the task based on the form data, or really trigger any of the possible rules. For subtasks, it is critical that you take the extra step to add automation sections to your project, otherwise the subtasks will be all mixed together. Using these sections and the workflow builder makes it easier, I think, to see how form data impacts the automation.

I imagine you could do a similar automation, albeit not with Workflow Builder, using a custom field as the gatekeeper instead of using sections for that purpose, should one wish to use sections for another purpose or reduce the footprint of the automation. The rest would operate the same as you show, albeit with rules in the Customize menu, not in the Workflow Builder.

Any change to the federal rules must be designed to promote simplicity in procedure, fairness in administration, the just determination of litigation, and the elimination of unjustifiable expense and delay.

Below are the proposed amendments organized by the year they are projected to go into effect with links to the relevant Congressional, Supreme Court, Judicial Conference, Standing Committee, and Preliminary Draft materials, as such materials become available.1

1 Although the rules are projected to go into effect on the dates listed, they can be delayed for various reasons or withdrawn entirely. Rule and form changes being considered by advisory committees can be found in their most recent agenda books or reports.

I was checking the forms functionality to help a customer gather project requirements from customers and while I was designing the process, I realized there is no way in the rules (automation) option to use a form response as a trigger.

As forms create new tasks, right now it is very difficult to distinguish in the automation which tasks are manually introduced and which ones come from a form. Specially when forms are unique for each project.

As forms are meant to create new requests or gather information, being able to identify if the task is created automatically through form submission, is vital to know what to do with it or to whom we should notify.

You can link fields from the form to custom fields in the project. When you create the field in the form, there is a super tiny text at the bottom right, which allows you to choose a field from the project to be mapped. We use it all the time and we use it for Rules.
