flat tire repair?

Hello All
I just picked up a 1/8" nail in the rear tire on the '02 Moto Guzzi.
The tire is a fairly new Dunlop sportmax 170/60 ZR17.
What's the consensus on repair vs. replace?

I know similar punctures are routinely patched on car tires, not sure
what the thinking is on motorbike tires.
