Hey all!
Thanks so much for participating in the second planning webinar for the Motus network across the Great Plains and Chihuahuan Desert! Your input and participation made it a very successful webinar.

We're beginning to work on placing our 18 Great Plains Motus stations across two lines, roughly corresponding to the northern and southern borders of the US state of Kansas (see attached map screenshot). We're still working out details of exact locations for each station, and I've begun to work with a couple partners in the area to choose specific sites. If you have any input or know of locations that would be ideal for a Motus station in this area, please don't hesitate to contact me at matt...@birdconservancy.org.
We're still working on locations and planning for Motus stations in the Chihuahuan Desert in the Southwestern US and Mexico (see attached map screenshot), and for input and questions regarding that planning, please contact Erin Strasser at erin.s...@birdconservancy.org.
One last thing I'll mention is that we have created a GPCD Motus listserv using Google Groups. Please sign up for the listserv here: https://groups.google.com/g/gpcdmotus. We'll use this listserv for discussing the larger project, disseminating ideas, and general communication.

Estamos empezando a trabajar para colocar nuestras 18 estaciones de Great
