Primera estación MOTUS en Venezuela / First MOTUS station in Venezuela.

Celebrar la primera estación Motus en Venezuela representó un reto para muchas organizaciones, aliados e individuos que aportaron de diferentes maneras, alguno equipos de la mejor calidad fueron donados y enviados a Venezuela, también hubo tiempo de capacitación y entrenamiento personal,  intercambio de conocimiento e ideas, así como muchos papeles y tiempo de espera para los trámites de permisos y autorizaciones legales de operación en el país. Queremos compartir con todos que lo hemos logrado y estamos preparando los detalles finales para anunciar los planes de MOTUS en Venezuela, su equipo y objetivos. Entérate de todos los detalles de la primera instalación leyendo nuestro documento de prensa adjunto y bilingüe.

Por ahora, mantente atento a las fechas claves siguientes:

• 27-26 de agosto: instalación técnica en el Parque Nacional Henri Pittier.
• 27  de agosto hasta el 2 de septiembre: período de prueba y ajustes de fallas.
• 3 de septiembre: anunció virtual del proyecto en el grupo MOTUS en la reunión de centro y sur América.
• 5 al 9 de septiembre: Evento nacional y de prensa con autoridades de Venezuela.

Esperamos instalar la primera estación CTT híbrida (434 +166 MHz) y aún estamos resolviendo pequeños problemas. Por lo que si usted tiene tiempo voluntario o soluciones, estamos disponibles para conversar. Algunos detalles que necesitamos ayuda son:

1. Tengo dos SensorrStation CTT pero una no está detectando el GPS y no obtengo las coordenadas. Llevaré las dos al campo si una no funciona, usare la otra. Pero me gustaría resolver el problema de detección de GPS.
2. Soy usuario de Mac y no logré configurar los Funcube Pro para detectar la frecuencias de Lotek: 166 MHZ. Tengo la duda de si los FunCube funcionan solos con conectarlos al  Sensor Station CTT o debo programar para que detecte la señal de 166 MHz, similar en los sensorgnomes para detectar 434 MHz. Buscaré una computadora Windows si solo funciona allí.
3. Hemos creado el proyecto en la página web de Motus. Pero me gustaría checar mis datos con alguien de experiencia para reparar algún error o sumar información importante.
4. Necesitamos algunas clases para descargar los datos y analizarlos.

Como todos saben, las torres Motus requieren fondos para su instalación, mantenimiento y continuidad. Esperamos expandir el proyecto conforme nuevos colaboradores se suman y estamos abiertos para colaborar y encontrar nuevos fondos de investigaciones que ayuden al proyecto de forma local o global.  Contáctame si tienes algunas ideas y bienvenidos a Venezuela.

First MOTUS station in Venezuela.

Celebrating the first Motus station in Venezuela represented a challenge for many organizations, allies and individuals who contributed in different ways, some of the best quality equipment was donated and sent to Venezuela, there was also time for training and personal training, exchange of knowledge and ideas. , as well as many papers and waiting time for permit procedures and legal authorizations to operate in the country. We want to share with everyone that we have achieved it and we are preparing the final details to announce the MOTUS plans in Venezuela, its team and objectives. For now, keep an eye out for the following key dates:

• August 27-26: technical installation in the Henri Pittier National Park. 
• August 27 to September 2: testing period and bug fixes. 
• September 3: virtual announcement of the project in the MOTUS group at the meeting of the center and South America.
• September 5 to 9: National and press event with Venezuelan authorities.

We expect to install the first hybrid CTT station (434 +166 MHz) and we are still solving small problems. So if you have volunteer time or solutions, we're available to chat. Some details we need help with are:

1. I have two SensorrStation CTT but one is not detecting the GPS and I am not getting the coordinates. I'll take both to the field if one doesn't work I'll use the other. But I would like to solve the GPS detection problem. 
2. I am a Mac user and I couldn't configure the Funcube Pro to detect the Lotek frequency: 166 MHZ. I have the doubt if the FunCubes work alone by connecting them to the Sensor Station CTT or I must program so that it detects the 166 MHz signal, similar in the sensorgnomes to detect 434 MHz. I will look for a Windows computer if it only works there. 
3. We have created the project in Motus website. But I would like to check my data with someone with experience to fix any errors or add important information. 
4. We need some classes to download the data and analyze it.

As everyone knows, Motus towers require funds for their installation, maintenance and continuity. We hope to expand the project as new collaborators join and we are open to collaborating and finding new research funds to help the project locally or globally.
