So we made dessicant pouches out of  cat litter!!! The crystal litter the cheapest form of silica you can buy in huge quantities.

Recommendations for desiccant?

Corey Wotring <cmwo...@gmail.com>: Dec 14 03:00PM -0500 Pamela,   We've used the 5 gram "Dry & Dry" brand in Michigan. They do well. They're "rechargeable", so you can just take a few out to the site, swap them and microwave them for next time. With any moisture absorber, the key is to make sure the enclosure is air tight.
