API prior questions

Hi,

I'm learning the API and I have a few questions that I hope someone can answer :)

The idea is: think that I am the owner of an events website and I want people to sell their own events on my website and I'll take a fee from every event/auction purchase.

- Is it possible for multiple users on my website to sign up, establish their accounts, and add their own events through the API? If so, does the API offer a user list for us to verify email/password credentials and facilitate the login process?
- How does the API manage payments in this scenario? If there's a need to collect fees from the event costs, will the application segregate these charges accordingly?
- Does the API provide a mechanism for us to facilitate payments for these events? If so, what would be the payment method?

- Does the API offer Auction option?
