The Portland Museum’s display of the crème de la crème of collector cars was a block from the AG hotel in Portland. Each selected car could be the sole star of a major collection including Steve McQueen’s 1957 Jaguar XK-SS, a Ferrari 250 SWB, a 1961 Austin Martin DB4GT Zagatto that resembled the Ferrari 250 short wheelbase from the rear, a 1953 Porsche 550 Spyder with hardtop, the original 1959 Corvette prototype split-window Stingray, a 1931 Duesenberg SJ Derham Convertible sedan, the 1937 yellow & black Bugatti Atalante, a 1930 Bentley coupe, a 1931 Pierce Arrow Silver Arrow, a 1937 Hispano Suiza coupe, a 1937 Talbot-Lago coupe and even a Tucker.
What an exhibit. To see such a collection of these famous cars all in one exhibit of only 16 cars.
Let’s keep this gearheads’ SIG going.
