1. Start with Rs 1, 50,000 for investments under 80C 

2. Rs 50,000 as contribution for NPS under 80CCD 

3. Rs 2,00,000 allowed as deduction for interest paid for self-occupied house property 

4. Rs 25,000 can now be claimed as medical insurance under 80D 

5. Rs 19,200 per year as transport allowance which has been doubled from Rs 800 to Rs 1,600 a month.
