I must be doing something stupid here ?    Motion Eye will not get a picture from my Anpviz.

1  The camera works and I can view video via my Windows PC at http://192.168.3.241/

2  About 2~3 years ago, I had THE SAME Anpviz camera working with Motion Eye and rtmp://192.168.3.241/h264Preview_01_sub.   The Anpviz has been stored in a box since.

3  My Reolink cameras work with rtsp://192.168.3.222/h264Preview_01_sub, but that does not work with the Anpviz.

4  The Anpviz is on a LAN cable that had a Reolink camera that was recognised by MotionEye until I disconnected it.

The one change I have made since last using the Anpviz is from MotionEyeOS to MotionEye on Raspbian Busted.   Surely that should not make a difference ?

What versions does MotionEye show in Settings, General for OS and motioneye? If it shows 0.43.1b(whatever), it can make a big difference. The 0.43.xxx versions have big issues with rtsp cameras. You should report it at https://github.com/motioneye-project/motioneye/issues

Well, today I had another go.
rtsp://192.168.3.241/h264Preview_01_sub did not work, with the TCP option.
It did work with the UDP option.   I'm fairly certain I tried this last time & I also know I should wait a while to see if each setting works.

Meanwhile, one of my Reolink cameras is dead, after 4 years.   I cleaned all the connections & then dismantled it.  There are no obvious internal issues, such as connections, corrosion or swollen capacitors.   So that's the limit of my troubleshooting.
The other Reolink occasionally has artefacts.

I spoke too soon.   The Anpviz picture on my MotionEye is not stable and reverts to a grey or green screen.    Therefore, my previous comment on settings is not accurate.
The same Anpviz camera can be viewed on my PC continuously, or for that matter in the browser on the Pi that I use for MotionEye.

Just thinking.   For the Anpviz camera, all I need is a picture every 15 minutes.   Is it possible to bypass MotionEye and have some script to save a picture to the folder that I would have been using within MotionEye ?
Without interfering with MotionEye.
My existing RCLONE set up should upload that to PCLOUD
