trying to get my motioneye instance dialed in, and so far so good...however I would like to get emails with the video...but it seems like the "%f" doesnt want to work...other variables work such as camera, frame, etc...

I know I can always do images, but its awfully nice to have a video to fwd via txt or email to someone on the spot

I am using a rasp and custom location for the videos...

if I run the script to send the file, it works perfectly...just seems like the "%f" is blank or null

you don't give enough information:
motioneye or motioneyeOS
which version of motioneye
which OS you are running (debian, raspberry pi OS, etc, and which version)
which installation instructions you used
All these little bits can make a difference, You can find most in Settings, General.

I would suggest creating an issue here:
https://github.com/motioneye-project/motioneye/issues
and see what they say. Be sure to include the same info.
I never got my 0.43.x installs to work as well as my 0.42.x versions, with work arounds, but with the EOL of python 2.7, I don't recommend it unless you understand the risks.
