Big performance difference with Raspbian/Motioneye vs MotioneyeOS

Hi all.

I have tested both settings on my Raspberry PI 2

1) Raspbian + motion + motioneye

2) MotioneyeOS.

While Raspbian is able to get less than 10 fps on my Cam with rtsp connection (Foscam FI9821 v2), I can get up to 16 fps using motioneyeOS

So is it true to say : "Regarding performance, motioneyeOS is faster than Raspian/motioneye ?

Note while Raspbian is slower, one can install fail2ban to protect the system, while motioneyeOS do not provide any security against brute force attacks.
