Hi, I have a raspberry zero with MotionEyeos in the hallway of my building. It works very well, but during the day, leaves something to be desired, as it cannot always catch whoever is passing in the hallway. The night is different, in view, that the hallway has a light that automatically turns on when someone is present. I want it to be more accurate during the day too, so I wanted to connect a pir sensor HC-SR501 (it's a presence sensor from the raspberry itself), but I plugged it in and at first it didn't work. How do I get MotionEyeos to use the pir to detect the presence? Has anyone here tested this pir sensor with MotionEye? Thank you so much.

Before trying a PIR sensor, you might want to adjust the
Settings, Motion Detection
Frame Change Threshold to a lower number (Mine are usually down around 0.1%)
Do not use Maximum Change Threshold (leave at default 0)
Set Auto Threshold Tuning to "Off"
Turn on Auto Noise Detection and Despeckle Filter
Turn on Show Frame Changes to see what, if any motion, the system sees while testing the settings. Don't leave it on all the time, though.

If your minimum motion frames is too high, it won't see anything.
If the frame rate on the camera is too low, it won't see anything.
