I was looking over rapidshare in my premium account and found that I can transfer all my files to a rapidshare collector's account.
I know last year I transferred over some Macross files from a rapidshare collector's account to my premium account. I originally opened the collector's account to avoid the same rapidshare upload restriction almost 2 years ago. But, I can't remember if the download time limit changed or that I had to put the transferred files back into premium file folder.
For example, I still have a Macross Frontier and a Macross 7 collector's account folder after I transferred the files from collector's to premium account. I don't remember shuffling the files back into the collector's folder and I still can upload premium files and copy them over into the collector's folder. First premium Macross Frontier file added into the collector's account folder on April 6/08 and Macross 7 on August 8/08.
So, I think it's possible to temporarily change over the premium rapidshare files into a collector's account and then back into the premium account to reset the rapidshare restriction. I would might have to copy the files back into the premium folders.
Does this sound right to you?

I'll see if (requested deletion) concurs or if anybody can confirm my "hypothesis", before I transfer all iMacross4 files back and forth from premium to collector's and back to premium. Maybe, if I had 2 premium rapishare accounts, then this would be easier?
So, no more uploading to imacross4 rapidshare for this week, until I can get this resolved.

Update:
I uploaded 1 jpeg to my collector's rapidshare account. I'll wait one or two days and transfer the jpeg from the collector's account to my premium account. Rapidshare only offers to transfer all all files at one shot either way to collector's or premium account from what I can read from the website. I'll upload one more file and see if I can be selective when transferring files from collector's to premium for tomorrow.

Update:
One day later and I have transferred the collector's files (2 jpegs) over to my premium account. Unfortunately, the download dates do not change at all. So, if I transfer the premium files into the collector's folder, all the files over 3 months will be deleted. That will be over half of the 200 gb of Macross files. No files will be permanently lost, since I do have back ups.
There is one last chance to renew the files by downloading each file a little bit with File Image Uploader sofware -o-o-m.eu/. I sent $4 yesterday to this guy to get the registration key for the software in order to make the rapidshare link keeper functional. Now, I just have to wait for him to email me with the key and get the rapidshare files updated. This appears legitimate, but we'll just have to see if it will work in time.
iMacross4 will remain intact, but (requested deletion)'s Macross Share website will be either restructured or allowed to fade into internet history.
I used babelfish to see what (requested deletion) had originally written in Spanish on his forum to see what ideas he has for Macross Share website.

In a more recent email that I have received from him directly, (requested deletion) states that "If you noticed, there are no new updates on macrosshare, I don't have enough time... and with this new problem (rapidshare 25gb file limit or 3 month file renewals) the objective of maintaining all macross multimedia is uncertain.
The blog needs new updates, so I'm considering a team, I can't do everything. Markcell is one of them, maybe you know him.

From the translated Macross Share forum posting, I think (requested deletion) is saying that currently he's trying to raise funds for his premium Rapidshare account by getting people to get their their own premium rapidshare accounts through a specific weblink that would credit (requested deletion) rapidshare account. That would cut down on his rapidshare server costs.
Last week, I sent (requested deletion) an email about file image uploader software and its file download date renewal function that would bypass rapidshare's current 3 month/25 gb restriction. I'm hoping he found the time to get that done and save the Macross Share files.
Otherwise, it looks like he will be relying on the many people who have downloaded files from Macross Share to take part in making available their rapidshare files on a new Macross Share website. So, that a whole community of Macross file sharers would be sharing through the Macross Share website and not just serviced solely by (requested deletion). He would also need a team of people to keep this new website organized and updated on a regular basis.
After October 20, I think (requested deletion) will write up more specific details of what he'd like for the new Macross Share website.

+Changed all races escort-type ships to be a single graphic of squadron of 3 fighters. I think it suits the macross feel better for now...
