Each ebike from Rad Power Bikes ships with an owner's manual. The most up-to-date manuals for ebikes sold in the U.S. and Canada are linked below. To download a manual for a bike sold in Europe, click HERE.

Our ebikes are shipped nearly fully assembled, which means there is some assembly required before you can ride Rad. Our owner's manuals and assembly videos will walk you through assembly, but if you would like to have your bike assembled for you, take a look at the options outlined HERE.

* Some RadRunner Plus ebikes come with the passenger seat not yet installed on the rear rack. If your RadRunner Plus came packaged that way, follow the directions in the RadRunner Passenger Package Installation Guide to install your passenger seat. You can skip the steps for installing the foot pegs and the wheel skirts, which come pre-installed on your RadRunner Plus.

We hope that you are electric mountain bike enthusiasts like us and have a good riding experience, but sometimes we also know that the complicated mechanical design of electric bikes may cause problems for your use and riding. So we have outlined the operating steps of our VIVI electric bicycle below.

For some parts of the bike we refer to the manufacturer's manual: Pentalock keyfob, Spaninga head light en rear light, Steco carriers, Gates Belt drive, Shimano hydraulische brakes en het slimme LINKA lock.

Turn the bike on and off by pressing the top (side) button for 1.5 seconds

Use arrow buttons to switch between speed levels 1 to 4.

The smart mode (mode 5) is turned on by pressing the upper arrow button for 1.5 seconds.

Turn on the backlight by pressing the lower arrow for 1.5 second.

A manual for the Boston display is found here: 2022 manual. For the BROOKLYN, the display is integrated in the handlebar. For the mentioned display, a manual is found here as well in both Dutch and English. The MONTREAL 2019/20 and the BOSTON models of 2021 and earlier use the same display. Maybe the cheapest in the market but the build and performance is for real. Assembly is a breeze. The only negative that I can say the bell lever is broken and the rubber fender at the back fender was detached when I got it. A bike helmet is a must for this tiny beast.

I have this bicycle already 5 month and it helps me in any situation, the battery lasts long enough (I rode 25 kilometers and it showed 1-2 sticks all the time) the only negative is that when I folded the bike several times to put it in the car, the wires stretched and the throttle stopped working . My first ever e-bike. Wanted something CHEAP to see if I would get any use out of the bike. Happy to say, my wife and I love it! It's just about perfect for us. We wanted a balance of pedaling and full throttle use, along with small size and portability. This fit the bill perfectly! It's low power, so your not going to win any races, or climb any steep hills, but we didn't buy it for that. Only complaint is the seat. For a wide bottomed person, its very uncomfortable. But I replaced it with an Amazon seat and now I can ride for extended periods of time in comfort. Battery is decent for the money. So far, I've ridden it 10 miles with a mix of pedaling and throttle only, small up hills and down hills, starting and stopping, and I've gone 10 miles and still had 2 bars of battery left. I'm 215lbs, so not light weight.

I am absolutely thrilled with my e-bike purchase! The bike is stylish, comfortable, and provides a smooth ride. The electric assist feature has completely transformed my commuting experience and has allowed me to cover more distance with ease. I highly recommend this e-bike to anyone in the market for a reliable, high-quality bike.
