Mosswood Park Earth Clean up Event

Hello Mosswood Friends and Supporters,

 

I agree that Mosswood Park needs serious attention and a significant cleanup.  On MLK Day, we collected and cleaned up 164 bags of trash and debris, and 154 volunteers participated in the cleanup.  

 

As the Mosswood Park Center Director, I would like to update you on the encampment status at Mosswood Park and invite everyone in this email chain to attend the Mosswood Park Advisory Council (RAC) meeting on Wednesday, April 2nd, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

There have been new developments about removing encampments at Mosswood Park. The City received a 7.2 million ERF grant to close the three largest encampments in Oakland. Mosswood Park is one of those three parks delineated in the grant. Please plan to volunteer for the Mosswood RAC meeting on Wednesday, April 2nd, at 6:30 pm to continue this discussion. Thank you for your immense support and due diligence in caring about our beloved Mosswood Park.
